Each summer she volunteers with her church to rebuild communities after disasters; this year she will be in New Orleans. An avid sports fan, Karen dreams of working for the Atlanta Braves. She will attend Shorter College to study marketing and public relations.

Patrick Eisenmann: Patrick is Douglas County High School’s 2006 Valedictorian. In 2003 he co-founded Douglas Youth Core, a youth leadership and service organization. He’s active in band, playing trumpet, mellophone, French horn and drums. Patrick will attend the Georgia Institute of Technology majoring in Physics with a music minor.

Kizzy Howell: Kizzy is a junior at Mercer University’s Douglas Regional Center. She attends night classes, successfully balancing the roles of wife, mother and student while working full-time. She is majoring in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing.

Lauren Winslow: Lauren kicked her way through college on a soccer scholarship, receiving an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Gordon College in 2006. But she’s not out of the game yet! The Chapel Hill High School alumna plans to get a bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State University, then attend law school.
