GreyStone Power, GEMC Federal Credit Union and Keep Douglasville Beautiful are bringing Mini Members a fun coloring contest for Earth Day!
This April a coloring contest open to children ages 4 to 12 offers a fun way to win $50 while sharing ways to help the community Go Green! Children, or Mini Members, as GreyStone Power calls them, are invited to share ideas about how to conserve energy, save up some 'green' (money) and help preserve the environment. The contest, organized by GreyStone Power, GEMC Federal Credit Union and Keep Douglasville Beautiful, ends April 18, with two winners announced on Earth Day, April 22. The winning entries will be on display from noon to 2 p.m. on April 22 at Arbor Place Mall's Guest Services Booth. A collection of all of the entries will also be displayed at GreyStone's offices in Douglasville and Dallas.
There are two great ways to join in the fun and get a chance to win $50! Children may download and color an educational page about saving money and the environment by clicking here or Mini Members may color and send in their own idea on how to save money and the environment. Submissions may be dropped off at the guest services booth at Arbor Place Mall, at GreyStone Power's office or mailed to: Go Green/CMR, GreyStone Power, P.O. Box 897, Douglasville, GA 30134. Several entries will also be on display at GreyStone's offices in Douglasville and Dallas on Earth Day.
There are two age groups, children ages 4-8 and children ages 9-12. Two winners, one from age group, will be picked randomly from all submissions received by April 18. Please be sure to include the child's name and age with each submission, along with a parent's name, phone number and mailing address.
