Strongs winds, rain from Jeanne move through Georgia

MONDAY, SEPT. 27: Hurricane Jeanne passed through Florida over the weekend killing six and is blamed for the deaths of more than 1,500 people in Haiti after widespread flooding. The storm, which was a Category 3 Hurricane when it hit Florida, has been downgraded to a Tropical Storm as it affects southern Georgia. This is the first year on record that Florida has been hit by hurricanes four times in a single year.

Meanwhile, Hurricane Karl and Hurricane Lisa pose no immediate threat to land, forecasters said.
