Ed Garrard is a real estate broker and President of Garrard Realty Inc. since 1962. He served four terms as Georgia State Senator representing District 37 from 1967-1976. During that time he was Chairman of the County and Urban Affairs Committee, Vice Chairman of the Human Resources Committee, Member of the Rules and Finance Committees, and was a member of the Atlanta Charter Commission. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force from 1943-1946 and was recommended for the Bronze Star for Meritorious Performance of Duty. He is a graduate of Atlanta Law School. He is a Powder Springs resident with three children and six grandchildren. He has served GreyStone members as a Director since 1998.
