Jennifer DeNyse, president and chief financial officer of DeNyse Signs / Woodgraphics in Douglasville, has been appointed by the GreyStone Power Corporation Board of Directors as a new director on the board of GreyStone Power Corporation.
DeNyse will complete the unexpired term of Robert Sprayberry, representing the members of District 5, residing in portions of Carroll and Douglas Counties. Sprayberry passed away Dec. 10, 2003, after serving on the board of directors for eight years.
Jennifer and her husband, Allen, reside in Douglasville and are owners and founders of a sign company that began in Douglasville in 1983 in their basement. Today, DeNyse Signs/Woodgraphics employs more than 80 full-time staff. The company was named Douglas County Business of the Year in 2002 and now ranks 13th among the nation’s retail sign companies.

DeNyse attended the University of Cincinnati in Business Education. She and her husband moved to Douglas County in 1983. She is a member of Douglas Executive Women, Community Character Coalition of Douglas County, American Business Women’s Association, and the Women’s Presidents Organization. DeNyse and her husband have a son and daughter, Mark, 21, and Jackie, 19. They are members of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
