Jennifer DeNyse, president and chief financial officer of DeNyse Signs/Woodgraphics in Douglasville, has been on the board since Spring 2004, and in 2005 she was elected Secretary-Treasurer. Ms. DeNyse represents the members of District 5, which includes portions of Carroll and Douglas Counties.
Ms. DeNyse and her husband, Allen, reside in Douglasville and are owners and founders of a sign company that began in Douglasville in 1983 in their basement. Today, DeNyse Signs/Woodgraphics employs more than 80 full-time staff. The company was named Douglas County Business of the Year in 2002 and ranks 13th among the nation’s retail sign companies. Ms. DeNyse attended the University of Cincinnati in Business Education. She and her husband moved to Douglas County in 1983. She is a member of Douglas Executive Women, Community Character Coalition of Douglas County, American Business Women’s Association, and the Women’s Presidents Organization. Ms. DeNyse and her husband have a son and daughter, Mark and Jackie. They are members of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
