Requirements for Residential Rebates
REPLACE GAS HEAT WITH HEAT PUMP OR DUAL FUEL ON EXISTING HOME
(Includes Heat Pump with Gas back-up heat or straight Heat Pump)
Rebate of $600 for 15 SEER efficiency rating or higher
Rebate of $300 for lower than 15 SEER efficiency rating
Requirements:

Attic insulation minimum of R-30
-
Double pane or storm windows
-
Plenums and trunk lines at air handler sealed with mastic duct sealing paste
-
All ductwork in unconditioned area insulated
-
Installation completed by licensed HVAC Contractor

Copy of sales contract with complete product information including: verification of efficiency of heat pump (SEER) with complete outdoor and indoor coil/model numbers

Request for allowance within 90 days of installation

Rebate of $425 for water heater with 12 year or better limited tank & parts warranty
Rebate of $425 for Marathon or heat pump water heater
Rebate of $300 for water heater with 9 year limited tank & parts warranty
Rebate of $200 for water heater with 6 year limited tank & parts warranty
Requirements:

Minimum 50-gallon tank

Hot water pipe insulated a minimum of 6 ft. from top of tank

Cold water pipe insulated a minimum of 2 ft. from top of tank
-
Receipt for water heater tank showing warranty period

Request of allowance within 90 days of installation
