Genevieve Cole was elected to the board in 2015. Cole has served the banking industry through a 43-year banking career in Paulding County and as a bank director for 16 years. She is currently serving Georgia Heritage Bank for 13 years as a member of the Board of Directors, CEO, President and Organizer. She is a graduate of Chattahoochee Technical College as well as C&S Lending School, Georgia Banking School, Commercial Lending School and the LSU Graduate School of Banking. Genevieve, a native of Paulding County, and her husband live in Dallas where she serves on numerous non-profit organizations. In her first year of service as a Board member of GreyStone, Cole completed her studies and achieved the Credentialed Cooperative Director Certificate awarded by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, NRECA, and has started the next level of education with NRECA. “This robust series of educational courses have been instrumental in my better understanding the operations of a cooperative in order to enhance GreyStone and my service to the board which has been a privilege.” she says.
