The GreyStone Power family is mourning the loss of a longtime employee. Kirby Eugene Southerland Jr. passed away on Jan. 22 at the age of 58. He was employed by the co-op for nearly 38 years and served as the system control supervisor. He joined GreyStone in June of 1984 as an equipment tech. Kirby was recently asked about his favorite GreyStone memory, and he said his favorite memories were “all the times working with great folks.” He said his greatest achievement was marrying his wife, Sherri. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Kirby’s loved ones during this difficult time.
