A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 8 p.m. on Aug. 7 for parts of metro Atlanta, which includes GreyStone’s service area. Conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms, with frequent lightning, hail and damaging wind gusts likely. Isolated tornadoes will also be possible. 

With damaging 60+ mph wind gusts expected, there is the potential for widespread power outages across the state.
